For nearly fifty years the trade was locksmithing in the literal sense: opening safes, changing locks, modifying safes and locks of every type. The pivotal chapter came after 1999, when COIN was opening safes that had been sealed shut as a result of the war and rehabilitating institutional treasuries — an unusual and specific line of work that no competitor here can claim.
The arc runs: hand tools, then mechanical safes, then mechatronics, then integrated systems with software written in-house. Today COIN designs, installs and services mechanical, mechatronic and digital systems for banks, utilities and public institutions across Kosovo and the region.
